Welcome to Gulmarg Adventure Academy. By booking any skiing, snowboarding, or powder package in Gulmarg, guests agree to the following terms and conditions.
Bookings are confirmed only after advance payment confirmation from Gulmarg Adventure Academy. Package availability depends on weather conditions, snowfall, hotel availability, and slope operations during the winter season.
A partial advance payment is required to confirm the booking. Remaining payment must be cleared before or during arrival in Gulmarg as instructed by the academy team.
Cancellations made close to arrival dates may result in partial or full booking charges depending on hotel bookings, transport arrangements, and equipment reservations already made for the guest.
Skiing and snowboarding activities in Gulmarg depend completely on weather, snowfall, visibility, and mountain safety conditions. Gulmarg Adventure Academy reserves the right to modify training schedules, slope locations, or activity timing for safety reasons.
Gondola operations are controlled by local authorities and weather conditions. Gulmarg Adventure Academy is not responsible for gondola shutdowns caused by snowfall, wind conditions, technical issues, or government restrictions.
Powder ski and powder snowboarding packages are recommended only for riders with previous skiing or snowboarding experience. Beginners are not advised to join off-piste or powder terrain sessions.
Guests must follow instructor guidance during all slope sessions and mountain activities. Unsafe riding behavior, ignoring safety instructions, or riding outside approved terrain may lead to session cancellation without refund.
Avalanche safety gear is included in powder packages, but mountain terrain always carries natural risks. Guests joining powder sessions understand and accept the risks involved in off-piste skiing and snowboarding.
All ski equipment, snowboard equipment, gear, costumes, and avalanche safety gear provided by Gulmarg Adventure Academy must be handled responsibly. Any major damage or loss caused by negligence may result in additional charges.
Airport pickup and drop services are provided only between Srinagar Airport and Gulmarg. Guests arriving late due to flight delays or route closures should inform the academy team in advance.
Road closures, snowfall delays, traffic restrictions, or weather disruptions are common during winter in Gulmarg. Gulmarg Adventure Academy is not responsible for delays caused by natural or government-controlled conditions.
Accommodation is generally arranged on sharing basis. Single, double, or triple sharing room preferences depend on availability and package selection.
Guests should be physically fit for winter sports activities. Anyone with serious medical conditions should consult a doctor before participating in skiing or snowboarding sessions.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, gadgets, wallets, documents, and valuables during the trip. Gulmarg Adventure Academy is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Snowbike rides, ATV rides, sledge rides, Gondola Phase 2 tickets, sightseeing tours, shopping expenses, meals outside the package, and personal expenses are not included unless mentioned separately.
Standard training sessions usually run from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM with a break between 01:00 PM and 02:00 PM. Timings may change depending on weather and slope conditions.
Gulmarg Adventure Academy reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest found under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or unsafe behavior during mountain activities.
