Founder

Mehmood Ahmad Lone brings more than 25 years of skiing experience to Gulmarg Adventure Academy. His long association with skiing and mountain culture has helped build the academy with a strong focus on mountain safety.

Co-Founder

Azhar Fayaz is a professional ski instructor, international athlete, and alpine specialist with more than 10 years of skiing experience. He is an active athlete with the Indian National Alpine Ski Team.

Javed Ahmad Reshi is an internationally certified backcountry ski instructor, mountain guide, trekking guide, and professional tour planner with over 20 years of experience in Himalayan adventure tourism.

Backcountry Ski Expert
