At Gulmarg Adventure Academy, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change due to personal, weather, or travel-related reasons. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to keep the process clear and fair for all guests booking skiing, snowboarding, and powder packages in Gulmarg.
Guests cancelling their booking more than 21 days before the check-in date are eligible for a full refund with no retention charges, excluding any payment processing charges if applicable.
Bookings cancelled between 21 days and 15 days prior to check-in will be subject to 50% retention charges on the total booking amount.
Cancellations made within 15 days before the check-in date will be treated as non-refundable due to hotel reservations, instructor scheduling, transport arrangements, and equipment blocking during the winter season.
Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled booking date without prior notice will not be eligible for any refund.
Skiing and snowboarding activities in Gulmarg depend heavily on snowfall, weather, visibility, road conditions, and mountain safety. In case of severe weather conditions, gondola shutdowns, avalanche risks, or operational restrictions beyond control, Gulmarg Adventure Academy may reschedule activities or modify slope sessions for safety reasons.
Gondola operations are managed by local authorities and may close due to weather or technical conditions. Similarly, winter road conditions between Srinagar and Gulmarg may sometimes cause delays. Refunds are not guaranteed for disruptions caused by natural weather conditions or government restrictions.
Powder skiing and powder snowboarding packages depend on snow quality and mountain conditions. Riding locations and daily sessions may change depending on snowfall and safety conditions without affecting package validity.
No refunds will be provided for unused days, skipped activities, early departures, or partial participation during the package.
Approved refunds are usually processed through the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days after cancellation confirmation.
Date changes and booking modifications depend on availability during the ski season. Gulmarg Adventure Academy will try to accommodate changes whenever operationally possible.
